Activate your account

What this is for

Turn the signup into a company you can Log in to. Until you confirm the email, EpicBiz does not finish creating the subscription.

Concepts

After Sign Up you are not fully in yet. The product sends activation instructions to the Email you typed.

Clicking the link in that message confirms the account. You should see that the account has been confirmed, then use Sign In.

If someone invited you (you did not run Sign Up yourself), you may get a different screen: Activate Account, with Please choose your password. Set Password and Repeat Password, then Save.

Before you start

  • You finished Create your account, or you have an invitation email.
  • You can open the inbox for that address (check spam; add the sender to your safe list if your mail host is strict).

Steps

  1. Open the activation email and click the verification link.
  2. When the product confirms the account, go to Sign In.
  3. Enter your email and Password. Optionally check rememberMe. Click Login.
  4. You should land in the app. Open the gear (top right) if you want Company Settings next.

If you never got the mail:

  1. Open Resend verification email.
  2. Enter your Email.
  3. Click Send. Use the new message and start again at step 1.

What happens next

You are on the free plan until you Change your plan. Set up your company, then add people, products, and customers.

On a paid plan you can Turn a module on (Inventory, card payments, and others listed under Modules).

If something looks wrong

  • Verification token is invalid or the link does nothing. Use Resend verification email and click the new link (old links expire).
  • Login fails. Use Forgot password on Sign In. That opens Request password reset — enter Email, click Send, then use the reset mail.
  • You already set a password at Sign Up. You do not need Activate Account / choose password unless you were invited.
