See stock by warehouse

What this is for

See on-hand quantity broken out by location (and in-transit buckets the product shows), not just a company total.

Concepts

Needs Inventory. Reports → Inventory → Stock by Warehouse.

Product List Current Stock is the total. This report is the split by Warehouse.

In-transit rows can appear after you ship; they are not warehouses you add under Addresses.

Before you start

• Inventory Enabled. Tracked items and warehouses exist.

Steps

1. Open Reports.
2. Under Inventory, click Stock by Warehouse.
3. Filter by warehouse if the report offers Warehouse.
4. Read qty per item per location.

What happens next

If one site is short: Move stock between warehouses or Receive items. If the total is wrong: Count stock. Serialized on-hand list: See serial number stock.

If something looks wrong

• Inventory column is missing on Reports. The module is off.
• A location you do not recognize. It may be in-transit from a delivery — finish or return that delivery.
