What this is for

See the history of stock movements (receives, ships, counts, transfers, manufactures) when a quantity does not match what you remember.

Concepts

Needs Inventory. Reports → Inventory → Product Inventory Activity Log.

This is an audit trail, not a place to edit qty. To change qty, receive, count, transfer, or manufacture.

Before you start

• Inventory Enabled. Some stock transactions already happened.

Steps

1. Open Reports.
2. Under Inventory, click Product Inventory Activity Log.
3. Filter by item, warehouse, or date if the log offers filters.
4. Read each movement until you see the one that explains the qty.

What happens next

Fix forward with Receive items, Count stock, or Move stock between warehouses. Do not expect a “delete history” button.

If something looks wrong

• Empty log. Nothing posted yet, or the filter is too tight.
• Inventory reports missing. Turn a module on.
