Choose shipping carriers¶
What this is for¶
Turn on the carriers you actually ship with, so delivery Assign can pick them.
Concepts¶
Carriers under Company Settings. Signup already added common Basic names (for example UPS, FedEx). Custom is one you add yourself.
Click to change status enables a carrier for your company. The catalog row can exist while still off for you.
Configuration Tasks: Review Shipping Carriers list and enable as needed.
This is not a tracking integration. It is the name you assign on a delivery.
Before you start¶
- You can open Company Settings.
- You know which carriers you use.
Steps¶
- Click the gear. Open Carriers, or click Review Shipping Carriers list and enable as needed on Configuration Tasks.
- For each carrier you use, Click to change status until it is on.
- To add a name that is not in the list, click the plus (Add Carrier). In Add a New Carrier, enter Carrier Name. Click Add. Then enable it.
- Tick the Configuration Task when the enabled set matches how you ship.
What happens next¶
When you Ship a delivery order, Assign opens Edit Delivery Method. The Carriers dropdown lists the ones you enabled.
If something looks wrong¶
- The switch does nothing. Some catalog rows have no switch if they are not available to enable.
- You added a custom carrier but Assign still lacks it. Enable the new row.
