Change your plan

What this is for

Pick how much of EpicBiz you pay for each month: how many Users, Customers, and Point of Sale lines you get. New companies start on the free plan. This job is moving up (or seeing why you cannot), or cancelling the subscription.

Concepts

A plan is the subscription for your company. It is not a customer contract.

Your subscription (on the Company Settings Dashboard) shows the current plan name, FREE or a monthly price, and the limits (users, customers, point of sale).

Upgrade opens Upgrade Plan. Each box is a higher plan: name, price (PER MONTH or FREE), a short description, and those three limits. The text in the boxes is the live catalog — this manual does not copy prices or marketing lines, because they can change.

Cancel Subscription (account owner) opens a dialog: If you cancel, your subscription will end and your account data will be permanently deleted after a 30-day retention period. No refunds will be issued. Tick I understand that my account and data will be permanently deleted after the retention period. Footer: Keep Subscription or Cancel Subscription. After you confirm, you may see Cancellation is scheduled. Your subscription remains active until {date}.

If a subscription payment failed, a banner can say Your subscription payment is past due. Please pay or cancel to avoid suspension. or Your subscription has unpaid invoices. Add a new credit card and pay all pending invoices to restore access, or cancel your subscription. Buttons: Pay Pending Invoices and, when shown, Cancel Subscription. Other users see Please contact your account administrator.

Modules (Inventory, cards, email, and the rest on the Modules tab) are extras on top of the plan. On the free plan the product tells you modules can only be enabled under a paid plan. Upgrade first, then turn modules on.

Before you start

  • You can Log in as the account owner (the person who registered) to upgrade or cancel.
  • A card on file is not required to look at plans. To confirm a paid upgrade you will add a card if you do not have one (Add a credit card to continue with the upgrade.).

Steps

Upgrade

  1. Click the gear (top right). You are on Company Settings, Dashboard.
  2. Under Your subscription, read the current plan name, monthly amount, and limits.
  3. Click Upgrade. The Upgrade Plan dialog lists the plans you can move to.
  4. Click a plan box (or its radio button) so it is selected. Click Next.
  5. Read Summary Info: previous plan, new plan, monthly fee, Due today (prorated). If a card is on file, you see CC Information. If not, fill the card fields.
  6. Check I accept the terms and conditions of Service. Click Confirm Upgrade.
  7. The Dashboard should now show the new plan under Your subscription.

Cancel

  1. On the same Dashboard, under Your subscription, click Cancel Subscription.
  2. Read the deletion warning. Tick the checkbox that you understand the account and data will be deleted after the retention period.
  3. Click Cancel Subscription, or Keep Subscription to close without cancelling.

What happens next

Turn a module on if you need Inventory, card charging, or another add-on.

Finish Set up your company if you have not (addresses, branding, printing).

If something looks wrong

  • There is no Upgrade button. You may already be on the highest plan, or you are not the owner.
  • There is no any available Plan to subscribe. Nothing to pick in this account; contact support.
  • The confirm button stays blocked. Accept the terms. If the product asks for a card, complete that block first.
  • You expected modules to unlock and they are still gray. Open Modules. The free-plan banner should be gone after a paid upgrade; then open each module to enable it.
  • There is no Cancel Subscription. You are not the owner, or cancellation is already scheduled.
