See subscription revenue

What this is for

See revenue from ongoing contracts (no fixed end date), per customer and billing frequency, plus an MRR-style equivalent and open AR.

Reports → Clients → Subscription / Ongoing revenue.

Columns include Customer, Subscription contracts, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly, Per period total, MRR equivalent, AR open.

Fixed-term retainers belong on See recurrent revenue, not only here.

Before you start

  • You have active contracts with no end date (or you expect empty).

Steps

  1. Open Reports.
  2. Under Clients, click Subscription / Ongoing revenue.
  3. Read totals. Print to CSV if you need a file.

What happens next

Bill a contract or See who owes you money for collection.

If something looks wrong

  • A fixed-term contract is missing. Use Recurrent revenue by customer.
  • AR open is not the same as this period’s invoice. Open AR is unpaid invoices, not the schedule.
